We’ll join Habitat DC-NOVA for a tour of their projects in the DC metro region to learn about Passive Houses and other sustainable building techniques, land trusts, and unique public-private partnerships.

National Museum of African American History and Culture: The National Museum of African American History and Culture is the newest Smithsonian Museum in DC and the only national museum dedicated exclusively to documenting African American life, history, and culture. We will explore the museum through a housing lens, visiting exhibits such as Power of Place and artifacts like the Jones-Hall-Sims House.
